My Perfect Weekend... |

| It's always fun to visit your old college town. I had the pleasure to go back and visit good old Tallahassee for the weekend. It sure brings back memories from my days at Florida State, that be only 1 years ago. Even though it wasn't football season when I visited, it still was a blast. Being a working man now, I had the ability to get a hotel for the weekend instead of bunking at one of my friends places. I stayed at the Doubletree Hotel Tallahassee, right in the heart of downtown. I got in Saturday morning and immediately hit the pool with my friends at one of the community pools, which is always a popular place. After a great day relaxing and some drinks, we hit up the always popular Poboys cafe for dinner before going out for the night. If you're up for some late night partying, the Tallahassee club and bar scene is definitely the place. We started the night at PotBelly's, a popular local hangout for the fraternities and Sororities at Florida State. After enjoying some time there we headed out to some of the other clubs which I used to go to all the time, such as Chubby's and Big Daddy's before calling it a night. The next day was recovery, enjoying some Jimmy Johns and just catching up with some other friends who I didn't have a chance to see the night before. Unfortunately due to having a career now this was a short trip and I caught a flight back home Sunday night. |
